Seventh Heaven for MSQ agencies in Campaign School Reports

For advertising and media agencies, the Campaign School Reports provide the definitive assessment on yearly performance. Each major UK agency receives analysis on their past 12 months, covering new business, new hires, new work and business transformation.

And, once all those factors have been taken into account, each agency gets given an individual score, out of nine – 9 for outstanding, 8 for excellent, 7 for good, 6 for satisfactory and so on.

This year, three MSQ agencies went under the Campaign microscope. And today, we’re delighted to reveal that MBAstack, The Gate and Walk-In Media all received reports that are going straight up on the fridge.

All three agencies received a 7 out of 9 ‘Good’ rating, with optimism from the Campaign ‘Headmistress’ that all are well-placed to build on that momentum going forward too.

MBAstack were praised for a buoyant new business year, winning 10 new clients, as well as achieving a leap forward in pay-gap figures. Nielsen billings for the agency rose 416%, whilst staff numbers rose 11%.

The Gate’s School Report signalled that the agency is ‘opening doors’, thanks to big new client wins like The AA. A near 20% increase in headcount and the appointment of a first Managing Director in Charlotte Wolfenden was also lauded.

Finally, Walk-In Media’s School Report adjudged the agency to be ‘getting into its stride”, as it continues to grow in size and increase its number of accounts. Strong commitments to sustainability and apprenticeships were praised, as was the addition of big new brands such as Vitality and Funky Pigeon.
